ONE WORD is a creative self-discovery experience that uses art journaling as a way to slow down, turn inward, and explore what may be asking for more room in your life.

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON WORKSHOP WITH TERRI AT THE HIVE SOUTH PASADENA

OCTOBER 10, 2026

1:00 to 5:00 PM

Through guided reflection, affirmations, intuitive art-making, collage, and mixed-media exploration, we'll allow those questions to unfold—not by searching for the “right” answer, but by becoming curious about what emerges as we create.

In this in-person workshop, you'll experiment with layers of collected ephemera and tissue paper, dimensional stenciling with molding paste, acrylic inks and paint, words, marks, color, and personal imagery. Along the way, we'll invite the heart into the conversation through thoughtful prompts and affirmations.

And gradually, one word begins to take shape.

A word that feels meaningful to you.

A word that can become a touchstone for the chapter ahead—a gentle reminder of what you want to invite, nurture, embody, or reclaim.

You don't need to consider yourself an artist. You don't need to know how your pages will turn out. Art journaling gives us permission to experiment, make a mess, change our minds, cover things up, begin again, and follow our curiosity.

The discovery is part of the creating.

You'll leave with your own mixed-media art journal, your ONE WORD, and the beginning of a creative practice you can continue long after our time together.
